Weather Data From Clay Hill Memorial Forest

Our sensors provide useful information on weather extremes and trends; they are not warranted for accuracy.  Technical information about sensor accuracy is provided on a separate page.   Data are provided in two formats:  tab delimited text files and Onset Computer® files.

Text files may be viewed by clicking on the file desired.  Once the file is loaded onto your browser, you may save it to your computer by selecting "Save As" in the dropdown "File" menu of the browser.  Onset Computer® files can be viewed directly if you have BoxCar® Pro4 or Hoboware® software installed on your computer.   Just click on the desired file.  Once the software loads the data you simply choose which data you want to view, and the software does most of the work for you.

If you do not have access to either of these programs you may want to go to our weather web server which provides current conditions as well 24-hr highs and lows and graphs of historical data in a very user friendly format.

Archived data are available for each of our weather stations.  Our two woodland stations were installed in May 2005.  More extensive data are available for our main weather station. Occasionally we collect other types of special  environmental data.  As these data are collected we will post them here under "Miscellaneous Data".

The Relative Humidity Air Temperature sensors were replaced at all stations on 1 August 2007
