Environmental Science & Education Scholarship

This scholarship is available to Campbellsville University students who meet the criteria outlined below.

 

  • This scholarship is available for students majoring in chemistry, physics, environmental science or an applied science such as engineering.
  • The recipient will have a GPA of 3.5 in order to receive and retain this scholarship.
  •      
  • To qualify for the One-Hundred Acre Woods Scholarship, the student will submit a written proposal for research or scholarly writing which addresses the application of physical science for resolving environmental problems.
  • The number of scholarships available annually will be dependent on availability of funds.
  • Recipients will be selected by the Natural Science Division Scholarship Committee in consultation with the Office of Financial Aid.
  • Recipients will be selected annually; however, the scholarship may be renewed at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.
  • Recipients will present the results of their study in a seminar at the end of the term.  This must be done prior to any consideration by the committee of continued funding.
